Welcome to this stunning traditional Lakehouse with views in every room of the lake, our adorable horses (Delta and Mia) and the beautiful country scape. Keep your eyes open for our wildlife friends who come visit to share their calm and beauty, depending of the time of day or season, you might see blue jays, cardinals, chipmunks, squirrels, otters, turkeys, deer and sometimes swans! There’s comfortable lounges set up around the property for you to be immersed in nature and comfort. Want to be lakeside or in the lake, head down to the dock anytime of day or night.. star gazing from the dock is pretty spectacular! If your looking for adventure you can book in a guided hike to the waterfall, a horse trail ride, or water skiing. Note: Horses are great with all ages and experience levels! How many people can the Lakehouse sleep? Are Dogs Allowed?
There’s more than enough space for 1 – 2 families! Feel right at home during your stay with all the amenities you’ll need. The Lakehouse has a Primary bedroom with a California King Bed, the front room has a queen bed and a large open concept loft with a King Bed, Queen Bed, Double Bed and Single Bed. We provide room dividers for additional privacy. The loft has a 1/2 bath and the main floor has a full bathroom. During warmer months, we have a large outdoor shower guests can enjoy. Click on the Amenities tab to learn about everything the lakehouse includes and offers.
Dogs are welcome. There’s an additional $50 pet fee & your dog must be house trained! There’s a fenced in dog play pen, it’s pretty much an Ottawa sized dog park for your dog. You are welcome to use this space with your furry friend.
The Lakehouse is Family friendly! We want parents with young children to have an escape and not worry about packing the whole house, we have the majority of your needs covered.. baby gates, kids toys (disinfected weekly), activities, books, chalk board wall, and games for ages 0 – adults. When booking, let us know the ages of your children and we will ensure the place is set up for your family. If you don’t have children, or your planning a kidfree getaway, you wouldn’t even know children have been there as all kids items are neatly tucked away!
Tiffany and Conor (owners of the lakehouse) have their own unit and are there to take care of the horses and property. We are never in our guests way just enhance their stay. Tiffany owns a Daycare in Ottawa (PROCARE Family Centre) and is an RECE who offers childcare an option. Tiffany will also be your trail guide for horse back riding or for children’s pony rides. You can also book in a boat cruise around the lake.

A Little YOU Time
Make this getaway as custom as you wish! We have a list of additional services you can add to enhance your stay, no need to book ahead of time, send a message to Tiffany while your here and we’ll make it work! The horses live on the property so you get to enjoy them during your stay. If you would like to groom or ride, that is an extra service listed below.
Childcare
Cost per hour – Lakehouse Guest Rate: $20 ~ Public Rate: $30
Book in childcare for any time of the day or evening, this way you can enjoy a quiet coffee, go for a sunrise kayak or snowshoe into the sunset (depending on the season), watch a movie, or NAP!!
Tiffany (Host) is an RECE, the Co-Owner/Director of PROCARE Family Centre in Ottawa, and Teaches at Algonquin College in the Early Childhood Education Program! You can trust your children are in excellent hands, and will enjoy their time with her! There’s no age too young.. or too old hehe
Boat Rides & Tubbing/Water Skiing
Boat Ride – $80 for 1hour
Sit back and enjoy 1hour of scenic views on a luxury pontoon boat! Centennial Lake offers excellent swimming conditions, stunning waterfront properties, tons of crown land, mini Islands, and miles of shoreline to discover. This boat seats 10 people, and lifejackets are provided! The captain of this boat, Peter, has a lifetime of experience boating and navigating these waters. You can choose a morning, lunch, afternoon, or sunset boat ride for your family!
Tubbing or Water Skiing – $60 for 1/2h
We have a Family Safe tube that fits 3-4 people and will not flip! This tube is designed for comfort and safety while being pulled behind a watercraft. Peter will drive slow, or can make it more fun, whatever you prefer!
Guided Hikes
2/3 hours – $60
The Greater Madawaska township, located in the Ottawa Valley, is the most picturesque area in Eastern Ontario and there are a few hidden gems right by our beloved Lakehouse.
Book in a Guided Hike to one of 2 destinations that are private:
1. Natural Waterfall – Beginner Level
2. Stunning lookout! – Intermediate Level
Horse Riding/ Grooming
Lakehouse Guest Rate: 1 hour with riding – $60 ~ Public Rate: $100
Grooming rate (brushing the horses only) 30 mins – $25
If you’re looking for some fun horse time, this is the service to book. You can book in horse grooming, kids pony ride with Tiffany leading them by hand, or an adult trial ride through our beautiful wooded trails! Option for western or english riding as we have both saddles.
Tiffany has been riding horses her whole life and with being a teacher as a career this experience has been added to the lakehouse for guests to learn all about horse care and riding. Delta and Mia are kind, funny, loveable horses who adore children and adults. They will make sure you feel comfortable and have a wonderful time with them!
Coaching
Lakehouse Guest Rate: 1 hour – $30 ~ Public Rate: $60
If you’re looking for a coaching session that will spark organic brainstorming to help organize your goals and shift your mindset, to plan and prepare for something coming up, or to help with a certain stage of your child’s development, book in an hour by the fire with Tiffany! She will take her years of experience, studies, and knowledge in business, Child studies, and achieving goals to share strategies that may work best for you. This session will leave you feeling inspired and more prepared for that next chapter because that can start as soon you want! This session includes a follow up call in 1 week.
